US Shipping

We offer a variety of shipping methods on our site. Free shipping to the continental US is available on orders of $49 or more. Expedited shipping is available via USPS.

Orders to Alaska, Hawaii and US Territories are shipped via USPS Priority Mail.  

For all orders, your tracking number will be sent via e-mail when your package is shipped. 

Please ensure you select an address where deliveries are secure as we are not responsible for stolen packages.

International Shipping

We offer shipping to Canada via USPS and UPS. Note that we do not include duties and taxes in shipping to Canada. You may be charged for duties and taxes separately.

Cancelling your Order

Unused products can be returned within 30 days of your purchase date for a full refund less return shipping fees. To initiate a return of an unused item, please contact Customer Service via the Contact Us Form on our home page. Please have your order information available. NOTE: We do not offer exchanges.

SHIPPING METHODS AND TIMES

Shipping times may vary depending on the method requested at the time of purchase.  United States and Canadian shipping addresses only.

Standard Shipping: Your package will typically arrive typically between 3-7 business days within the contiguous United States. 

USPS Priority Mail: USPS Priority Mail packages typically arrive within 2-3 days after shipment. USPS delivers on Saturday, but does not deliver on Sunday. 

Expedited Shipping: Delivery within 2 business days to most areas; applicable for Continental US, Hawaii and Alaska only. Two  Day service delivery days are Monday through Friday.  No Holidays. Please note that Expedited orders placed after 12 PM EST or on a weekend will be processed the following business day. Select zip codes are not available for this service and some locations require additional shipping times.

Canada Orders: Depending on the method selected, orders to Canada typically arrive in 5 to 10 business days. Orders placed by 12pm EST on business days will ship the same day. Orders placed after 12pm EST on business days will ship the next business day.

For your information, orders received before 12pm Eastern Time on weekdays typically ship the same day. Orders received after 12pm Eastern Time or on weekends typically ship the next business day. 

RETURNS PROCESS

Unused products can be returned within 30 days of your purchase date for a full refund less return shipping fees. To initiate a return of an unused item, please contact Customer Service via the Contact Us Form on our home page. Please have your order information available. NOTE: We do not offer exchanges. 

CANCELLATION PROCESS

• Double-check the address on your paid order.

• Check your mailbox or wherever else you receive mail or packages.

• Look for a notice of attempted delivery.

• Look around the delivery location for your package.

• See if someone else, such as a neighbor or family member, accepted the delivery

• Wait 48 hours: Wait 48 hours- the package may have been marked delivered in error and is still on the way!

• If you haven't received your package, contact us within 30 days of expected delivery and we'll do everything we can to help.

• Our policy is to replace items lost in transit, which are verified missing through a claim with the shipping provider. 

• Refunds will not be given and we may involve the authorities when fraud/ theft is suspected.

Our bottles keep liquids cold for up to 24 hours and hot for up to 12. To keep liquids cold for as long as possible, use cold liquids and larger ice cubes in your bottle. Heat will depend on the starting temperature of the liquid when poured into the ThermoFlask. We recommend against using straws with hot beverages. 

We are continuously testing and improving our products. After extensive testing, we have proved that our bottles are now in fact able to be cleaned in the dishwasher. While we recommend a daily hand wash to maintain the cleanest conditions, note that you can place your bottle in the dishwasher. We recommend that all lids be placed in the top rack. Note that this does not apply to any bottles with a metallic colored coating.

The cleanliness of your bottle or pitcher is not covered under the warranty.

Before cleaning your bottle, please reference the bottom of your bottle.  

For bottles marked as “Handwash only” we recommend you hand wash your bottle with a non-abrasive dish soap and warm water. Do not use cleansers with harsh chemicals like bleach or chlorine as they can ruin your bottle.  

For bottles marked as “Dishwasher Safe” please remove lids before placing in the dishwasher. Please note that harsh detergents, high water temperature and high mineral content in your water may affect the appearance of your bottle over time including water spots and/or fading.

All ThermoFlask lids are top shelf dishwasher safe.  

If you prefer handwashing, we recommend that you wash your lid (including the mouthpiece) daily with warm soapy water and a straw brush.  Unscrew the spout or extend the straw before rinsing or washing. Do not disassemble the folding straw from the lid to clean.  

For a deep cleaning, we suggest removing the silicone o-rings in your bottle lid to clean, and then soaking the lid O-rings with a 50/50 solution of water and vinegar. 

After cleaning, make sure that all parts are completely dry before reassembling.

O-Rings are clear silicone rings that are located inside the lids where it meets the bottle or pitcher. They are required for the leakproof seal. If they are missing or damaged, you can find them on the website here: https://mythermoflask.com/collections/o-rings

18 and 24oz ThermoFlask bottles fit in most cup holders. 32oz and larger ThermoFlask bottles will not.

Yes, you can put carbonated beverages in your double-wall stainless steel bottles. However, we urge you to use carefully as carbonated beverages in an airtight container may cause a build-up of pressure which could cause your bottle to leak or the liquid to splash out unexpectedly when you open your bottle. Use with caution.

Where you can enjoy warm liquids, we recommend against using straws with hot beverages. It is not recommended to overfill any of the bottles with hot liquids as they may spill over and cause harm. Use caution at all times when handling hot liquids. 

Do not use in microwave or freezer. 

Do not use on stove for cooking.

Do not overfill product. Hot liquids can scald you. Keep out of reach of children when filled with hot liquids.

Allow hot liquids to cool to a drinkable temperature prior to sealing lid. 

Always use caution when using with hot liquids. Never use with liquids hot enough to scald as hot liquids and steam can cause burns. Hot liquids may cause pressure to build up within the bottle causing the bottle to leak or spray when opening, especially in high altitudes, like in an airplane, or when hot contents have been shaken. Allow hot liquids to rest before opening.

We do not recommend storing milk or dairy products in our bottles for an extended amount of time, although our stainless-steel bottles are insulated, the temperature is not controlled, and bacteria growth can begin when it reaches a specific temperature.  Once the contents begin to ferment this can also cause pressure to build up over time. Please use caution, follow food safety guidelines, and wash your bottle after each use.  

Yes but we recommend hand washing only to keep the overall bristle shape.

No it is not dishwasher safe. We recommend cleaning with a soft dish soap. Do not use bleach or abrasive materials for scrubbing

While it does make a tight seal that is completely leakproof, it does not vacuum shut. 

Because we use high-grade stainless steel, our food jars are not safe for microwaves.

Food jars are not intended for the freezer or refrigerators.

Dry ice and carbonated beverages are not safe for use with food jars.

This depends on the size and shape of the lunchbox. While it’s a little big for most lunch boxes, the convenient handle makes it easy to carry on its own.

We recommend cleaning your food jar and lid after each day of use to ensure it remains mold and germ free.  The food jar is dishwasher safe. For a deep cleaning, remove the lid's O-Rings and soak in a 50/50 solution of water and vinegar until you can wipe clean and then rinse with fresh water. (Do not use cleansers with harsh chemicals like bleach or chlorine as they can ruin your bottle.) When reassembling, ensure the jar, lid and O-ring are thoroughly dry. Check your lid to make sure the O-ring is in place. The O-Rings will create the airtight seal to prevent leaks and ensure proper insulation. 

Some simple ways to extend the temperature are filling the food jar with hot water before use. Use caution with the hot water and do not seal with the lid.  Pre-chill the food jar by filling it with cold water and ice for 5-10 minutes before using.

Food jars are not intended to store food for longer than 24 hours. Some contents may spoil faster (examples: homemade soup, dairy, tomato, partially-consumed food, or when product is frequently opened/closed). Spoilage may increase pressure and cause forceful ejection of the stopper, lid, or contents, resulting in injury or property damage.

Our best-selling stainless water bottles and drinkware are available to be customized with a premium laser engraving, however certain products may be excluded due to product availability. Any product that is customizable will have our customize button available on the product page. Orders up to 100 bottles may be facilitated through the website.

Laser engraving can be done on any color stainless steel bottle available on the website. You can add designs or text to the front, back, or both sides of the bottle. The decoration must fit into the predetermined space for each bottle or drinkware.

An automated laser removes powder coating to expose the stainless steel according to the design mockup online. Our partners created a superior laser to decorate to the finest detail and you will certainly notice the difference when receiving.

Files and decoration options must comply with the ThermoFlask policies noted before you check out.

Expect 3-8 business days prior to shipping. Peak times may add to this expectation. We prioritize on a first come, first serve basis. If there are other items in your order, they will be held and shipped with your customized product(s) when ready in accordance with the tier of shipping chosen at checkout.

Your order will be cancelled, and you will be refunded. Orders that are cancelled will be refunded within 5-7 days. 

No, once the product is engraved, the product is ineligible for returns. If you believe there is a manufacturer defect, please contact customer service.

Prices will vary by product and amount of sides available for customization. Please refer to the product's customization feature for pricing. 

For orders over 100 bottles, please contact us. 

Due to the nature of a customized product and demand, expect 2-4 business days for engraving and then your order will ship according to the tier chosen at checkout. Peak times or demand may add to the timeline. 

Yes, customizing the bottles does not change how they should be cared for.

Designs or text that are obscene, defamatory, libelous, advocating persecution based on gender, race, age, religion, national origin or otherwise. We ask that you are respectful and stay within appropriate boundaries. 

Licensed and copyright images and language 

ThermoFlask respects the intellectual property rights of others, and we ask that you do the same. All images and text are reviewed, and if your submission infringes any copyrights or trademarks, your order will be cancelled and refunded. It is your responsibility to check your design for typos or errors before submitting and checking out as changes cannot be made once submitted.  

We offer a superior laser marking process and therefore accept images in 

PNG,JPEG, SVG, and BMP formats.

All ThermoFlask bottles are made of food-grade 18/8 stainless steel and feature a durable powder-coated finish. The lids are made of BPA-Free plastic (PP#5) and feature silicone o-rings to create a leak-proof seal.

All ThermoFlask bottles are designed in California and manufactured in China.

ThermoFlask’s Tritan Collection™ gives users a lightweight, durable option while hydrating on the go. Crafted from Eastman Tritan™, ThermoFlask’s Tritan line is BPA-Free, stain/odor and shatter resistant. The clear bottles have a wide mouth for easy filling, and you can clearly see the liquid level.
